Food was great. The chicken wasnt fatty, it was breaded well, and pretty filling. The curry sauce was delicious and not lacking at all. The ratio of food was all very good. There was no wait to order and the food came out quickly. The area is pretty calm and quiet, but I can see it getting busier during lunch hours or the weekend. I would definitely get this meal again.

As usual, Misasa Japanese foods are affordable and rarely disappoints at Mitsuwa locations. $10-$13 per order is pretty generous, especially for the quality food taste and portions. Delicious indeed. I won't stop eating salted grilled mackerel fish plates or katsu chicken curry rice. This is a very small food court with limited choices compared to other similar locations. It's just cost $1-$2 more if you compare it to other places. Salads/lemon/ginger are always fulfilling here. Staffs are friendly and there's also employees tossing out trash and cleaning up the tables. Somehow, it still feels tighter in space in this environment. Busy for sure. I like Misasa's displays of meal sets. Inexpensive and decent. I probably won't revisit this location again, but you can always check it out if you're in the area. Grabbed a latte from Mochill donuts & coffee place afterwards. This Misasa is less exciting than the one in Torrance/shopping area. Overall, decent.

I come to misasa to get their pork / chicken Japanese curry rice for under $10. It's decently sized and comes out quickly. Their service has gotten better over the years and I've always had a friendly experience. The restaurant is located inside Mitsuwa's food court. Lots of open seating, just make sure to order before their 7pm closing time.

This spot is inside the Mitsuwa market feels like a hidden gem. The service was quick and the food was really good. We got the beef udon bowl and the pork cutlet bowl. The portions were generous and we also got a side of a small pork soup. The port cutlet was delicious the beef broth was savory. The price was relatively cheap as well. And afterwards you can shop around Mitzuwa. Would recommend to friends.

I've been coming to this spot in the Mitsuwa food court for years now and it always delivers. My go to is the pork cutlet bowl; always well done, big portions, and comes with miso soup and edamame on the side. Pleasantly surprised that it's still affordable at around $10 after all this time. A great option if you're looking for quick, quality, and affordable Japanese food. The food court does get crowded but there are outdoor seating options around the plaza.

Misasa is located all the way inside the back of Mitsuwa Market. What unique with this restaurant is that it shows displays of each dish on a shelf right next to the cashier, which is super helpful for ordering food. In addition, I'm pretty surprised by the cost of our meal, and was pretty affordable. For the 2 of us, our bill was about $25, which is cheaper than Olive Garden. The service was pretty fast overall as well. For a place in a Japanese market, it felt like we were in a real sit down restaurant, which was nice. There were plenty of tables to sit and we noticed there were a lot of young families around, which I can see why- the plate sizes for what it's worth is pretty decent.

Not bad for what you get and quicker service compared to other restaurants in the plaza if you come during a weekend afternoon. We got the chicken cutlet curry combo and some udon combo (I forget which one). The chicken cutlet was a little dry but still was pretty good for a quick breakfast. The udon also came with warm and comforting broth. Overall, not bad if you're looking for a quick meal.

Parking: Misasa is located in the food court of Mitsuwa which is located at the Irvine Heritage Plaza. It shares parking with a lot of other businesses and parking might be a bit difficult. Interior: The food court is rather small compared to the other Mitsuwa food courts that I have been to. It might be difficult to get a seat during meal times. Food: I got the Yakiniku Beef Bowl. Nothing really stood out in particular so it was alright. It came with a side of miso soup, edamame, and a pickled side dish. The portions were decent and relatively cheap.

3.5/5 stars This place is located in the Mitsuwa marketplace. Overall solid curry for the price. The pork cutlet had some moist pieces, but some parts were dry. The curry was flavorful. It wasn't spicy for me, and was on the sweeter side. Portion size was large. Not as good as Maji curry or coco ichibanya per my boyfriend, but still a solid meal. The food came out quickly after ordering, and the staff helped to clean up our trays when we were done.
